The Galapagos - Day 3

Only one island today, Espanola - so beautiful!

Aww - isn't she cute

A lot of marine Iguanas

Warming up in the morning sun before hitting the surf

Booby with chicks

Waved Albatross

A Blow hole

Would have been more exciting if the sea had been rougher. Thankfully for my stomachs sake the seas were quite calm.

Guess What?

Marine Iguana returning to the shore after feeding for the day.

Going to get a bit geeky now but it was information given to us by Juan, our excellent guide. The first shot of Godzilla in the latest movie is actually a marine iguana. You learn something new everyday! No jokes about Wildlife on Juan please!

Dolphins!

After lunch we had a short sail to another beach on Espanola and were joined by a small pod of Bottlenose Dolphins. Unfortunately there was no time to join them in the water.

Sea Lions and another species not endemic to the Galapagos
